Pet Blogger Challenge

Some of my friends are taking this challenge, and I wanted to join them. While the human figures out how to upload the pictures from the camera with her broken USB (it works sometimes), I will tell you:
1. When did you begin to blog? My original blog began in May 2, 2008 with the first post, but I began blogging in the hamster blog circa January 2008, "we" have been around the blogging world since December 2007

2. What was the original purpose of your blog? The original blog in Wordpress was a test blog, I wanted to tell my stories, but I couldn't tell them in a blog that was for a hamster, so I made a personal blog for me! I shared things I liked like videos and sites, and also stories from my point of view, and then the blog grew...

3. Is your current purpose the same? Well, it's still a personal blog, but since 2008 I have learned lots of things about the blogging world (Paw says: and more English rules, if you look back my grammar was terrible, IMO. Oh, and the pictures, also terrible, but Stellaluna always looked great!), I share it with the hamster and dog sometimes but it's still my diary and the other animals haven't taken over it ;)

4. Do you blog on a regular schedule or when the spirit moves you? I will let Paw answer that: Sometimes I get the writer's block, don't you hate when that happens?! Stellaluna inspires me to keep her blogging, I look at her, and then an idea pops up and I tell her "Maybe you can play with the Wii-motes with your paws, it will make a nice story!" I think she gets the idea ;). So, I think the spirit moves us, because I'm bad organizing things :(

5. Are you generating income from your blog? Umm...money? Money would be good, but I have heard money can "transform humans", you understand? It may change the purpose of the blog, so I prefer not to have ads or other ways to get moneys in this place, it's a place to share my ideas! Still, I can make some fundraiser for an Animal Organization in Costa Rica, they are just a few here...

6. What do you like most about blogging in general and your blog in particular? I like how you easy is to communicate, and know more about the world you live in! And meet new friends around the world. I remember the Christmas Card Exchange from 2008, everyone was like "you're getting Christmas cards from Singapore, what?!" but it meant a lot to me. I can also encourage humans to get into causes in which other humans do very good things for us animals. Even Paw learned HTML and CSS through Blogging, and the other humans say it's too hard! Well, I love a lot of things from blogging.

7. What do you like least? Paw would say "writter's block", hehe. I think it's saying goodbye to friends that go to the rainbow bridge or leave blogging after you have been very good friends with them, it's too sad...

8. How do you see your blog changing or growing in 2011? This new blog is still...new, I think all my old friends that are still blogging will visit me and it will be like the good old times (althrough just 2 years have passed)! So, the blog will grow little by little, and then I could do more things with it, like giveaways, reviews, and even new things that other bloggers haven't tried. Also, meet more spanish speaking bloggers, porque ya quedan muy pocos :(
You can do it too! Just make a post with this questions (and answer them of course) and then post your link here so everyone can visit it, can't wait to see yours!

Just found you on the Pet Blogger Challenge. It's great to hear from someone who has been doing this for a long time.

And I'm really amazed by the bi- (and tri-) lingual people I meet blogging in different languages.

As for Gris, there are widgets out there that allow people to pick a language to translate their post into. It's not perfect but it does a pretty good job of getting the main ideas across.

Hi Pamela! Yes, we have internet connection since 2007, and we found the blogging world by accident!
I have to say, blogging has helped us to improve our english, a lot! The human has problems with pronunciation, that's the only problem.
I always check with the translator before posting (at least in spanish) to see if the people will understand the idea, if not, I change some words so the translator gets it ;)

Pues voy a hacer este test, es interesante.

Por cierto, si alguno de mis mensajes llega a publicarse será por suerte porque me envían a mi correo un mensaje que me dice que ha habido un fallo y no se pone. Lo he intentado varias veces pero nada...

Ah, so you're the one who's responsible for all the cool Spanish-speaking cat bloggers who took part in this challenge (note to self: read the posts in order, duh)!

Great to have you and I wouldn't have known about English not being your native language if it hadn't been for the comments section.

Hola! Muchos me acreditaron por el post, pero el "reto" fue hecho por Edie y luego las otras respuestas me animaron a hacerlo!

I hope the translator gets the idea on all those spanish posts! At least you get to know new spanish speaking friends!
